Westwood T1400 Ride On Lawn Mower in Woodbridge, Suffolk for sale

We were using this mower until the beginning of the summer when the plastic cog on the top of the starter motor stripped its teeth. We were given a different lawn mower so never got round to fixing this one. The air filters and cowling were removed to get at the starter motor to find the problem, the carb was removed and cleaned but none of this was reassembled. For these reasons we will sell this as a non-running project - sold as seen. The grass pickup and collector are working - I replaced the pickup brushes at the end of last year. The cutting deck is rusty in all the places they usually go, but the chassis itself is solid. Before the starter motor problem I would have said the same thing about the engine. There are a couple of slow punctures on the tyres which again I had not got round to fixing. Would suit someone who wants to resurrect and use, or who wants to break for spare parts. Its shares all the running gear, grass pickup and cutter with the T1200 I believe, but buyer should confirm if that is important. Picked a random price to advertise at. Will take the first sensible cash offer from someone who can collect and take away.
